What is Rockin' the River?

It's a free weekly summer concert series with a cool twist, the stage is right on The Trinity River in the shadow of downtown Fort Worth. You can enjoy the show floating in the river or, if you're a land lubber, bring a chair or blanket and enjoy a great view from the shore.

The Headliner plays on the Coors Waterfront Stage first then, on the Southshore Stage, The After Party Band keeps playing right up to the nightly fireworks show. Panther Island offer tubes to rent, great food from Salsa Limon, and cold beer to boot.

It's a uniquely-Fort Worth experience!

We are SUPER excited for the opportunity to hold a Silent Auction fundraiser in conjunction with the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) 2016 Lone Star Regional, taking place in Frisco TX on October 19-22, 2016.

Funds raised from this auction will help provide medical care for dogs in our program - spay/neuter, vaccines, heartworm prevention, dewormer - additional vetting services that may be necessary (heartworm treatment, illness, surgery, emergency, etc.).

Have a couple of hours to give?

This is a really fun event, and a great way to kick-off the holiday season - bring your family and friends to help save a life!

A note about the times - we are committed to the stores from the start time (beginning of first shift) through the end time (end of last shift). Time slots are somewhat flexible within this range, so if there is a time you are available, but it's not shown as an option, PLEASE contact us directly and we will make it work!

Panther Island Ice

Join Panther Island Ice and Bass Performance Hall as they celebrate Annie The Musical coming to Fort Worth as part of Broadway at the Bass.

Everyone knows how much Annie loves her pup Sandy and that's why Panther Island Ice is offering $2 off admission for all skaters who bring a pet supply donation to the ice rink during Annie Day.

All donations will benefit Texas Sporting Breed Rescue!

Rockin' the River has moved to Saturday's and this year Texas Sporting Breed Rescue (TSBR) and our friends at Allie's Haven Animal Rescue (AHAR) have teamed up have a little fun while we spread our shared mission - saving lives!

We need 20 eager volunteers (10 per shift) to participate as celebrity bartenders and represent Texas Sporting Breed Rescue (TSBR) and Allie's Haven Animal Rescue (AHAR) at Rockin’ the River!

12:30 pm - 5:00 pm and 4:30 pm - 9:30 pm

What is Rockin' the River?

It's a free weekly summer concert series with a cool twist, the stage is right on The Trinity River in the shadow of downtown Fort Worth. You can enjoy the show floating in the river or, if you're a land lubber, bring a chair or blanket and enjoy a great view from the shore.

The Headliner plays on the Coors Waterfront Stage first then, on the Southshore Stage, The After Party Band keeps playing right up to the nightly fireworks show. Panther Island offers tubes to rent, great food, and cold beer to boot.

It's a uniquely-Fort Worth experience!

Volunteers needed to wrap gifts during a private, invitation-only VIP event for Cabela's customers! 

Have a couple of hours to give?

This is a really fun event and a great way to kick-off the holiday season - bring your family and friends to help save a life!

A note about the times - we are committed to the stores from the start time (beginning of first shift) through the end time (end of last shift). Time slots are somewhat flexible within this range, so if there is a time you are available, but it's not shown as an option, PLEASE contact us directly and we will make it work!   

Can't volunteer, but want to help? 

Stores provide the basics - table, chairs, scissors, tape...we NEED donations of wrapping paper, tags, ribbon, and bows for our wrapping kits!

What is an Ambassadog you may ask?

These are well-behaved dogs that have been adopted through TSBR that come out to "Wrapping for Rescue" to showcase the amazing and grateful lives we save every day (it helps that they can beg for donations!)! Ambassadogs should be friendly, outgoing, and love to be loved on. Sounds like a sporting breed to me!!! 

Ambassadogs give the general public an opportunity to see first hand what amazing dogs are available through rescue, and where their money goes! In short, they are the reason for Wrapping for Rescue!
