Flanders is a typical English Setter. 

He absolutely loves to point anything that moves i.e. butterflies, birds, leaves, bees, etc. He knows sit and down, but needs to work on his recall. Often, his extreme focus on pointing prevents him from following the recall command. He walks well on a leash with proper equipment. He is slightly timid to unusual sounds and new environments. He is a polite house guest. He typically enjoys sleeping on a dog bed, but if invited, he will snuggle on the couch. He is crate and house trained. He has not had an accident in the house, nor has he gotten into things he isn’t allowed. He has been around children on a couple of occasions; he has been gentle, but cautious of the young ones. 

Flanders is looking for a patient forever home that will give him time to settle into his new routine, take him on adventures, and continue to build is confidence in unsure situations. 

His ideal person will embrace his eagerness to point all things that move.
