Love sporting breeds, but secretly want a lap dog? This little beauty is both! Aniva is a 9-month old chocolate brown cocker spaniel. This happy little girl lets nothing get her down - she has recovered from demodex like a champ and recently sailed through recovery from spay surgery.  

She gets along well with other dogs of all sizes, as well as cats, and is respectful of her foster's alpha female springer spaniel. Her biggest focus, however, is her people! She LOVES snuggling, playing and generally just being with her people - typical of "velcro" spaniel behavior! Long hours away from her people would be difficult for her.

She sleeps all night in her crate and is house-trained with an occasional oops, not unusual at this age. Also typical of this age is chewing behavior - she loves her chew toys and is very adept at un-stuffing toys in record time! She knows sit and off and walks well on a leash. Still working on down and stay. She LOVES to fetch and will happily bring a little ball to initiate another round.

Older children would be fine as she is a jumper and can be a little overwhelming for very little ones.
