Hi, I'm Maverick! I'm a 3 year old Lab mix.

A few days ago a man in a red suit came down the chimney, and asked me what my Christmas wish was for this year... I told him that all I want is a new beginning in 2015. A family to call my own!

He patted my head and said, "Good boy, Maverick!" I would love to find a home with another active fur-baby, and maybe even a kiddo or two! I have lived with big/small, male/female, and both dominant/submissive dogs and get along with everyone.

I really need to have a friend to sit next to me when I'm in my crate, and to run around the backyard and wrestle with. I get lonely when I'm by myself! I'm crate trained as long as I have a buddy, know to bark at the door to go potty, and even sit pretty for treats and chin scratches.

I enjoy long walks through the park, a game of fetch, and have some serious snuggles to share with that special someone.

I love children, especially the small ones that have sticky fingers for me to lick. I had a toddler in my previous home, and my foster home has 3 little boys that I adore and am super sweet to. I will play fetch as long as you'll throw the ball! I'm still working on some basic commands, but I'm a smart boy who aims to please and has tons of potential.
