Miranda ("Mira" for short) is everything a young Black Lab should be. In fact, at first glimpse one's brain virtually forms the words "Lab, Lab, Lab!". She's a big-boned girl at 80+ pounds and will be just right for an active family with kids who are six or older. She is downright goofy and just loves to play with her foster sister, Ginny (one year old English Setter), who is less than half her weight. She also happily shares her foster's home with a Yellow female and a Chocolate male Lab - neither of whom can keep up - as well as two senior cats in the household who are thankfully ignored. They are not, after all, nearly as much fun as wrestling with and/or chasing Ms Ginny. Mira crates easily when asked and is almost housebroken. Her outdoor bathroom routines and schedule are very predictable; it's just that when she gets excited playing with Ginny that sometimes small accidents do happen. Otherwise, she is very happy resting quietly in her crate with her pack and peeps nearby. Sleeps uncrated in the master bedroom with the rest of her pack quietly most nights; and except for a few instances when she has tried to very stealthily ease her svelte 80 plus pounds up onto the bed just before dawn, you would not know that she was even in the room. Mira will be a great addition to an active family, and she will definitely keep you fit.
